The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) officially recommends using the WatchBP Home A during routine blood pressure measurement for all GP's in the United Kingdom.

The Home A is primarily designed for patients suspected of hypertension to perform a self-measurement program over 7 days following ESH / AHA / BHS guidelines. The device has built-in memory where results are downloaded to a PC running the free user-friendly WatchBP Analyzer Software.

The device can also be used as an on-the-spot automatic BP monitor, taking a 3-reading average for accurate BP measurement.
