The disposable scalpel allows for precise incisions to be made during minor surgical procedures. It has a small and extremely sharp stainless steel blade mounted on a lightweight but rigid plastic handle with fluted finger grips.

The scalpel blade comes protected by a plastic, closed end guard for safety.

Packed individually in peel-open paper/poly pouches.

Sterilized by gamma radiation to a minimum dosage of 2.5M Rad, disposable scalpels have a sterile shelf life of 5 years.
